Refund Policy

All purchases made through Smart Cleaner — including one-time purchases, weekly subscriptions, and monthly subscriptions — are final and non-refundable. By completing a purchase you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

Once a subscription is purchased and access to premium features has been granted, we do not issue refunds for any remaining unused portion of the subscription period.

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to premium features until that date. No partial refunds are issued for the unused time remaining after cancellation.

To cancel, manage your subscription through the platform where you originally purchased (App Store, or the customer portal accessible from the pricing page).

Payments for web purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle's own Checkout Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Under those terms, refunds for digital content that has already been accessed are provided solely at Paddle's discretion on a case-by-case basis.

We will consider a refund only in the following circumstances:

• You were charged multiple times for the same order due to a technical error.
• The product was not delivered or did not function at all due to a defect on our end, and our support team was unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time.

To request an exception review, contact us within 14 days of the charge at meliorapps.org/contact with your order details. We will respond within 3 business days.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived by contract. If you are located in a jurisdiction that requires a mandatory cooling-off or refund right for digital goods (such as certain EU member states), those rights apply to you notwithstanding the above.
